Gift Senders
How do I buy gifts for my team in bulk?
You have two options. You can let employees pick out their gifts by tapping the Let Them Choose option at the top of the store (more on this below). To gift employees specific items, add the items to the cart and adjust the quantities. Gifts can be picked up, shipped to one location, or shipped individually. To ship gifts individually, you must first upload employees’ addresses to the Address Book, which can be found on your Account page.
What if I want my employees to choose their gifts?
This is the easiest way to give your employees a gift. Navigate to the shopping page and click Let Them Choose. From there, download the new Bulk Order Template and copy and paste your employees' names and email addresses into the spreadsheet. Select between $15 and $25 gift options. New this year, you may also add a personalized message.
If I let employees choose their gift, do I still need to collect mailing addresses?
Not anymore. When you select Let Them Choose, employees will receive a unique shopping code and store link via email. Once they select their gift, they will enter their shipping address at checkout. Free shipping is automatically applied.
How do I utilize my Employee Recognition funds?
As a manager, you can use Employee Recognition funds with Neighborly Gifts to reward your team. The coupon code for $15 per employee/gift is automatically applied to your checkout. Contact Customer Support if the discount is not showing up, or if you want to shop the store without using Employee Recognition funds.
If I shopped last year, why do I need to reactivate my account?
With a number of new updates to our store, this extra step helps ensure managers have secure access to the private collection.
Can I still pick up my gifts this year?
If you are selecting the gifts for your team, you have the option of scheduling a pickup at our office, 223 N Broadway Ave in downtown Rochester, Minnesota. If you select the Let Them Choose option, gifts will be shipped to employees directly.
What if I want my employees to choose their gifts, but I want to pick them all up?
To do this, we can set up a private gifting collection specifically for you and your team. Reach out to our Sales team for more information.
Can Restaurant Vouchers be gifted to employees outside of Rochester?
We don't recommend it. With more than two dozen restaurants in the program, the Vouchers are a great gift idea for employees in the Rochester, MN area. However, at this time, the program is not available in other areas. We invite you instead to shop our catalog of physical gifts from MN, WI, IA, AZ and FL.
Can I purchase gifts for my team outside of the holiday season?
Absolutely! Neighborly’s private Mayo Clinic store is open year-round and is constantly evolving with new products and services. We are also able to work with managers to set up custom collections for specific teams and occasions. Collections can be curated with various products and prices, depending on your needs.
Gift Receivers
I received a Neighborly Gift Credit from my manager. How do I use it?
New this year, managers can let employees choose their gifts on their own time. Using the link provided in your email, enter the Mayo Clinic Employee Recognition store (employee access) and shop as normal—adding the item you would like to your cart and clicking Checkout. Then simply paste the 16-digit code included in your email into the Discount section, fill in your shipping information, and place your order.
I was supposed to receive a Gift Credit from my manager, but I didn't get an email. What should I do?
With some companies having higher firewalls, our emails can sometimes get blocked or delayed. Be sure to check your junk folder. If you are still not seeing that email, reach out to our Customer Support team for further assistance.
I picked out my gift. Do I have to pay for shipping?
No, free shipping is provided by your employer and applied automatically at checkout.
I was gifted a Restaurant Voucher card. How does it work?
Our Restaurant Voucher program allows you to choose a dining experience among more than two dozen restaurants in the Rochester area. Simply scan the QR code on the card, select a dining offer, and then present the card to the restaurant at the time of purchase. The Vouchers come in three categories (Coffee & Pastry, Lunch and Dinner) so be careful to choose an offer that corresponds with your card. Vouchers have no cash value and can only be used at participating restaurants.
What happens if my gift does not arrive or is damaged?
Contact our Customer Support team with your name, address, gift selection, and (when applicable) a photo of the damaged item. Our team will investigate the issue and get back to you within a couple of days.
Can I shop the private Mayo Clinic store using my own money?
At this time, Neighborly Gifts only allows employees to shop using Gift Credits provided by their managers. The Gift Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred for anything outside of the catalog.
